We were tracking the
caribou on a large map on the wall of our classroom.
Every couple of weeks
we would receive the latitude and longitude of our caribou
and would spend a few minutes putting a sticker on the map
to show where our caribou was. We numbered each of
the points and drew lines on the maps so we could follow
their paths over the year. Many of our caribou
died during the project and one was lost. It was neat to see
where the caribou was travelling and we had many questions
that we asked the biologist who was sending us the
information.
Below we have included a few pictures and a summary of some of the caribou.
