The Grade 6 Charr Project was a great success! Everyone had lots of fun, and we learned a few things on the way. The success was due to so many people who donated their time, support and expertise in assisting the Grade 6 Class.
To all the people who helped us, you were awesome!! Your assistance was really appreciated!!

Jean-Guy St. Aubin
Jean-Guy was the originator of the Suvaliriniq Project in Kanqiqsualujjuaq. That project boasted a very impressive 98% success rate using stream incubators. Since that time Charr incubating projects have been started in Kuujjuaq and in Ulluriaq school.
Jean-Guy was one of the coordinators of this project. He shared his cabin, canoes and most importantly his knowledge and experience.

The Grade 6 Class
This is us posing for a crazy picture!!
The "Arctic Charr Project" required special funding for equipment and for an excursion. This funding was provided for by Gathering Strength, Brighter Futures, Makivik Corporation and Landholding of Kangiqsualujjuaq. We are thankful to all of these organizations for their support. The students also raised some of their own money within the school.
