If I Was a Charr
If I was a charr I would never bite a hook. I would hide from predators. I would like swimming in the salt water because there is lots of food and the sea is big. I would also like to jump out of the water. I would not want to be eaten. When I bite the hook it hurts a lot in my mouth. When I jump out of the water I canŐt breath. When it is fall and it starts to get cold, I go up the stream and spawn.

If I Was a Charr
If I was a charr I would show off to the females. If I was a charr my baby would be big. If I was a charr I would be scared of seals. If I was a big charr it will be fun. If I was a charr I would have to go to the lake in September. My best charr friends would be Mark R, Kevin, Frankie and Jimmy. We would be a family. Jimmy would be good to me. I would hide from the hooks.

The Outside of a Charr

Lateral Line
The lateral line is like our ears. It helps the charr to hear other animals in the water. The lateral line is a big line. There is one line on each side of the fish.
Eyes
The fish eyes are on the sides of the head. The eyes look a little bit like our eyes.
Gill Cover
The gill cover protects the gills. The gill cover can open and close.
Fins
The charr has eight fins. The adipose fin has no bones. It is a small fin near the tail. The caudal fin is the tail fin. The fins help the fish to swim.
Kype
Only the male grows a kype. The female doesn't grow a kype. The male grows a kype when he is ready to spawn.
