My name is Nadine Gravel. I am a teacher at Tukisiniarvik School, in Akulivik, Quebec. Aisa and Levi are my students. I teach Secondary One through Five English and Social Studies, among other topics. I am originally from Montreal, and will be returning there this summer. I have made great friends in the North, and am thankful to have been able to contribute in my own little way to the students in my classes, especially by working on this web site. This was a major project for my students, and I hope they are as proud as I am.

Aisa Amittu has helped me enormously by doing a lot of the research and helping me piece together the details. Aisa is in Secondary Three. He is a 15-year-old Inuk. Aisa hunts year-round and enjoys fishing especially in the summer.

Levi Qungisiruk (#22 Forever) is also in Secondary Three. He is 15 years old, born on June 22, 1985. Like most Inuk, Levi loves to hunt, and especially enjoys playing hockey in the winter. In the summer he loves to swim.
