Usually, people who catch the tuburculosis germ don't get sick right away. The germ stays hidden for a few years in the lungs.   During this time the people feel healthy and can not give the sickness to others. There are 97 people from our town who are taking antibiotics for at least 6 months, to get treated before getting sick.   If you do not take your medication everyday, after a few years you can feel sick. You can get a cough that doesn't stop, feel tired all the time, feel really weak, get fevers, lose weights, lose your appetite and you can even start spitting blood.
