The Grade 5 and Grade 6 classes at Ulluriaq School participated in a student exchange with some Grade 6 students from Montreal. The Montreal students came to Kangiqsualujjuaq in March and we visited Montreal in May. We left for Montreal on May 14 and returned home on May 18. The Kangiqsualujjuaq students stayed in the homes of their Montreal partners and had a super time. Our schedule was very full and we all enjoyed many new activities including visits to the Imax theatre, the Biodome, and the Molson centre, a day at the Recreatheque, indoor swimming, and of course shopping!! It was an awesome and interesting week for everyone and we all were sad to say goodbye to our new friends.
