From August 12th to the 14th, new KSB teachers gathered in Kuujjuaq for a special event. Each year, the group of newly hired teachers has the opportunity to benefit from a customized training session organized and given by the group of education services pedagogical counsellors.

Over three days, pedagogical counsellors specialized in different subjects presented a series of workshops aimed at providing essential information about the Kativik School Board curriculum. Teachers participated in workshops on the topics of language, math, science, social science, arts and the goal-oriented approach to learning. As well, a series of workshops dedicated to teachers of the Individualized path for learning (IPL) was offered. Finally, representatives from certain departments of our Montreal office came to Kuujjuaq to present information to the teachers.
